Last Saturday and Sunday, Mothers and sons from Cub Scout Pack 647 joined other moms and sons from the Motor City District to stay overnight at the D-BAR-A Boy Scout Ranch for the annual "Mommy and Me" Weekend.The theme this year was the Olympics so all the Moms and sons took part in sporting games. We did the 3-legged race, the long jump, the noodle throw, played baseball (the mom's won!!), the 200 yard dash, and the boys participated in bb gun shooting. We also did a craft to make an Olympic torch and did an Olympic torch run when we joined the the boy scouts at their camp fire.
